The answer depends on a few factors: what your skin can tolerate, what your skin care routine currently looks like, and the percentage of Salicylic Acid you’re using. Our Salicylic Acid products are designed for daily maintenance (for combo to oily, troubled skin types), but do consult with one of our skin specialists or your dermatologist for personalized direction.

For most skin types, Salicylic Acid may be used morning and night (but as always, consult with one of our skin specialists or a doctor if you have sensitive skin). Make sure you’re always using effective SPF protection during the day but especially when you’re using products that help with cell turnover!
Avoid using Retinol and Salicylic Acid products together—but if your skin type can handle it, you can certainly stagger application on alternating days or even just between your day and nighttime routine.
Avoid stacking on too many exfoliating acids (like alpha hydroxy acids), Vitamin C, or potentially sensitizing actives. Instead, make sure you’re balancing out your Salicylic Acid products with hydrating, soothing ingredients.
