Vitamin C offers a number of serious benefits for the skin, including:

  • Building Collagen;
  • Helping to impart a healthy looking glow; and
  • Antioxidants to protect the skin against free radicals.

Not bad, huh? I’m excited to share with you how to do a DIY Vitamin C Facial. It’s inspired by the Vitamin C Treatment that is offered in our New York City Salon. If you’re not in the NYC area, this may be your lucky day—this particular facial is ideal for normal-to- combination/dry skin types.

1. Cleanse
Start off by cleansing your skin with our Orange Cleansing Soap, making sure all of your makeup is thoroughly removed (if you are wearing any).

2. Exfoliate
While your skin is still a little damp, apply our Kiwi Face Scrub in circular motions. Rinse with lukewarm water.

3. Steam
Lean your face over a pot of steaming (not boiling) water at a safe distance for about three minutes. Steam helps to open up pores as well as deep-cleanse them.

4. Mask
Apply a thin layer of our Rose Hips Mask and leave it on the skin for about 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water. In case you’re not aware, Rose Hips are very high in Vitamin C.

5. Tone
With a cotton ball or wipe, apply our Alpha-Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion on the face and neck.

6. Treatment
Apply a thin layer of our Vitamin C Serum all over the face and neck.

7. Moisturize
Try our Hydro Moisturizer with Vitamin C. If you are in a colder climate or your skin is feeling drier than usual, use the Orange Protective Cream instead.

8. Eye Cream
With your ring finger, apply a small dab of our Hyaluronic Eye Cream on the orbital bone (the part that lies between the high cheek bone and under-eye area).
