The Perfect Lip Balm Doesn’t Exi-

But it does now.Mario Badescu Lip Balm

Goldilocks, look no further because your new favorite lip balm is finally here.

After a year of formulating and re-formulating until everything was just right—from consistency and ingredient pairings to finish and of course, scent!—we launched Lip Balm. Lip Balm, in the perfect throw-in-your-pocket-and-go squeeze-y tube. Not to be confused with the original Lip Wax (more on that later).

What is Lip Balm?

Mario Badescu Lip Balm is a decadent formula that nourishes dry lips with a blend of nutrient-dense butters and moisturizing oils. Formulated with Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, and antioxidant Vitamin E, this ultra-rich, coconut-scented balm melts into the skin to replenish and renew lips. Lips are left feeling soft, smooth, and supple.

#MBSkinTip: Lip Balm acts as an evening lip treatment, too. Apply a generous, even layer over lips before bed as an overnight, leave-on “lip mask” that restores moisture while you sleep.

Do You Need Lip Balm?

Short answer, yes. The skin on your lips is incredibly thin and delicate. Plus, it’s unable to produce oil (like the rest of the face) to protect its outermost barrier—which is why lip care needs to be a non-negotiable step in every skin care routine.

Lip Wax vs. Lip Balm: What’s the Difference?

Mario Badescu Lip Balm vs Lip Wax - What's the Difference

Our original Lip Wax boasts a lightweight formula that glides on easily for a natural, non-shiny finish. It’s the perfect everyday formula that allows you to swipe on and go.

Lip Balm can be applied day or night as well—but unlike Lip Wax, the formula is rich in consistency and buttery in texture. It’s designed to envelop parched lips in moisture and lock in lasting hydration.
